New Burn Permit Website From the State of Maine

 

This new website through Maine.gov allows users in all towns to obtain burn permits online. 
 
Cost is $7.00 per permit to be paid by credit/debit card.
 
All online permits must be printed and available for inspection at the site of any burn. 
 
Note: Free Permits are still available from your local town Fire Wardens listen below.

For those seeking traditional burn permits,

there are 3 people who can issue Burn Permits for the town of Hancock.
